If you’ve been using Photoshop for a while, you may have noticed that your fonts aren’t always showing up when you open a new document. This can be frustrating, especially if you’re trying to use a specific font for a project. There are a few reasons why this might happen, and luckily, there are also a few things you can do to fix it.

One reason your fonts might not be showing up in Photoshop is because they’re not installed on your computer. This is often the case with new or updated fonts.

To install a font on Windows, you can usually just double-click the font file and click “Install.” On Mac, you can open the font file in Font Book and click “Install Font. ”

Another reason your fonts might not be appearing in Photoshop is because they’re disabled. This can happen if you installed too many fonts at once or if you installed a corrupt font.

To fix this, you can go into Photoshop’s preferences and enable or disable fonts as needed. You can also try deleting the font cache files, which will force Photoshop to rebuild its font list.

PRO TIP: If you are having trouble seeing fonts in Photoshop, it could be because your font cache is corrupted. To fix this, try deleting the font cache files. You can find these files by going to the following locations:

Windows: C:\Windows\System32\FNTCACHE.DAT

Mac: /Library/Caches/com.apple.ATS/FontTablesCache-v2.db

Once you have deleted the font cache files, restart Photoshop and see if the fonts are now showing up.

If your fonts still aren’t showing up in Photoshop, it’s possible that they’re not compatible with the program. Some older fonts may not work with newer versions of Photoshop, and some foreign languages may not be supported either. In these cases, you’ll need to find a different font to use for your project.
