Figma is a vector-based design tool that is gaining popularity among UI/UX designers. One of the reasons for its popularity is its ease of use; Figma is very user-friendly and has a low learning curve. Another reason is its flexibility; Figma can be used for everything from wireframing to creating high-fidelity prototypes.

One of the features that makes Figma so flexible is the ability to import fonts. This means that you can use any font you want in your designs, which gives you a lot of freedom when it comes to choosing the right typeface for your project.

So, can you import fonts into Figma? The short answer is yes! In this article, we’ll show you how to do it.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma does not currently support importing fonts. This means that if you import a design into Figma that uses a custom or imported font, that font will not be preserved and will be replaced with a system font.

First, open the Fonts tab in the left sidebar. Then, click on the + icon and select the Add Fonts from your Computer option.

This will open a window where you can select the font files that you want to import. Once you’ve selected the fonts you want to use, click on the Open button.

The fonts will now be imported into Figma and will be available for use in your designs. To use a font, simply select it from the drop-down menu in the Text tool.

That’s all there is to it! Importing fonts into Figma is a quick and easy way to add more variety to your designs. So go ahead and experiment with different fonts until you find the perfect one for your project!
