Does Wix Keep Track of Inventory?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 2:28 am

Wix is a cloud-based development platform that allows users to create HTML5 websites and mobile sites through the use of their online drag and drop tools. Wix is also one of the most popular website builders on the market with over 110 million users worldwide.

One of the features that sets Wix apart from other website builders is their eCommerce platform which allows users to sell products and services online. The Wix eCommerce platform includes an inventory management system that allows users to keep track of their stock levels and reorder products when necessary.

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

PRO TIP: If you are planning to use Wix to manage your inventory, be aware that there are some serious limitations. Wix does not allow you to track inventory levels, so you will need to keep track of your own inventory manually. In addition, Wix does not integrate with any third-party inventory management software, so you will need to manage your inventory completely separately from your website.

While Wix does have an inventory management system, it is not as comprehensive as some of the other options on the market. For example, Wix does not allow users to track inventory by SKU or product ID.

Additionally, Wix does not offer features like order tracking or backordering. However, despite these limitations, Wix is still a good option for small businesses or those just starting out with eCommerce as it is relatively easy to use and set up.
