How Do I Access My Drafts on Figma?

Last updated on December 1, 2022 @ 2:25 am

If you’re using Figma for the first time, you may be wondering how to access your drafts. Here’s a quick guide on how to do just that:

    1. When you first create a document in Figma, it will automatically be saved as a draft.

    2. To access your drafts, simply click on the ‘File’ tab in the left sidebar and then select ‘Drafts’ from the drop-down menu.

    3. This will bring up a list of all your Figma drafts, both published and unpublished. To open a draft, simply click on its name.

    4. If you want to publish a draft so that others can view it, simply click on the ‘Publish’ button in the top-right corner of the screen.

And that’s it! Accessing your drafts in Figma is easy and straightforward. So why not give it a try today?

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and want to save it as a draft, be aware that there is no “Save as Draft” button. The only way to save your work as a draft is to export it as a .fig file.
