How do I access phpMyAdmin in DigitalOcean?

PHPMyAdmin is a web-based administration tool for MySQL servers. It can be used to manage databases, tables, columns, views, and more.

To access phpMyAdmin in DigitalOcean, you can use the following instructions:

1. Launch your browser and go to the DigitalOcean website.

2. In the upper-left corner of the website, click thedroplet icon.

3. Click the Droplets tab.

4. In the list of droplets on the right, click the name of the droplet you want to use.

5. In the pane on the left, under Configure Droplet, click Server Settings.

6. Under Server Settings, click PHP.

7. In the PHP Options section, under MySQL, click the Add a New Server button.

8. In the Add a New MySQL Server dialog box, type the following information:

Server Name: phpmyadmin

Hostname: 127.0.0.1.

Port: 3306

9. Click OK.

10. In the Server Settings dialog box, under Access Methods, click Allow All.

11. Click OK in the Server Settings dialog box.

12. In the PHP Options dialog box, under MySQL, click the OK button.

13. In the MySQL Connection dialog box, type the following information:

username: root

password: root

14. Click OK in the MySQL Connection dialog box.

15. In the Server Summary dialog box, under Status, click OK.

16. In the Server Summary dialog box, under Ports, click OK.

17. In the Server Summary dialog box, under Status, click Close.

18. In the Server Summary dialog box, under Droplets, click Close.

19. In the Server Summary dialog box, under Et cetera, click OK.

20. In the main window of the droplet, under the MySQL tab, click the phpMyAdmin icon.

21. In the phpMyAdmin window, type the following information:

password: password

22. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, type the following information:

hostname: 127.

port: 3306

database: mydatabase

23. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Server Type, click MySQL.

24. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under User Type, click Root.

25. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Password, type password.

26. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Hostname, type 127.

27. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Port, type 3306.

28. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Database, type mydatabase.

29. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Table, type users.

30. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Column, type id.

31. In the MySQL Connections dialog box, under Select, type * from users.

32. In the results pane, under Table, click users.

33. In the results pane, under Column, type id.

34. In the results pane, under Select, type * from users.

36. In the results pane, under Column, type email.

37 In the results pane, under Column, type slug.

38. In the results pane, under Table, click posts.

39. In the results pane, under Select, type * from posts.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that phpMyAdmin is a web-based tool that is used for administering MySQL databases. While it is possible to access phpMyAdmin in Digitalocean, it is important to note that this tool should only be used by experienced users. Inexperienced users may accidentally delete important database information or make other changes that could cause problems.
