How Do I Add a Button to a Squarespace Section?

Adding a button is easy with Squarespace’s built-in tools. In this article, we’ll show you how to add a button to a Squarespace section.

Squarespace sections are the building blocks of your site. They’re the content areas where you can add text, images, video, and other elements. To add a button to a Squarespace section, follow these steps:

1. Log into your Squarespace account and go to the Dashboard. 2. Click the “Design” tab and then click “Site Styles.” 3. In the Site Styles panel, click the “Buttons” tab. 4. Under Button Style, choose the style you want to use for your button. 5. Under Button Size, choose the size you want to use for your button. 6. Under Button Alignment, choose how you want to align your button. 7. Click “Save.”

8. Go back to the Dashboard and click the “Pages” tab. 9. Click the page where you want to add your button. 10. In the Page Editor, click on the section where you want to add your button. 11. In the Section Settings panel, click on the “Button” tab. 12. Enter the URL you want your button to link to in the “Button Link” field. 13 If you want your button to open a lightbox, select the “Open Lightbox” checkbox and enter the URL of the content you want to display in the lightbox in the “Lightbox Content” field . If you don’t want your button to open a lightbox, leave this checkbox unchecked . 14 .Click “Save.” 15 . Preview your page and test your button .
