PRO TIP: If you are using Figma to design your user interface, be aware that there is no built-in way to add a Figma file to Jira. You will need to use a third-party integration or export your Figma file as an image and attach it to your Jira issue.

Figma is a vector graphics editor and design tool, primarily aimed at web designers and front-end web developers. It is available as a web app, macOS app, and Windows app. Figma has been described as “the Google Docs of design”, due to its focus on collaboration and real-time editing.

Jira is a software development tool used by agile teams to plan, track, and release software. It is available as a cloud-based and on-premises application. Jira is used for issue tracking and project management.

You can add a Figma file to Jira so that it appears as an attachment to an issue. To do this, you first need to export the Figma file as a PNG or JPEG image. Then, you can attach the image to an issue in Jira.

To export a Figma file as an image:

1. Open the Figma file that you want to export. 2. Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the screen. 3.

Select PNG or JPEG from the drop-down menu. 4. Click Export. 5. Choose where you want to save the image, then click Save.

To attach the image to an issue in Jira:

1. Log into your Jira account and navigate to the issue that you want to attach the image to. Click the paperclip icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select the image that you exported from Figma. Click Open. 5

That’s it! The image will now appear as an attachment to the issue in Jira.
