Once you’ve clicked that, you’ll be prompted to select which type of prototype you’d like to create. For this example, we’ll choose the “Click Through” prototype.

Next, you’ll need to select which artboards you want to include in your prototype. For this example, we’ll just include the home screen and the sign up screen.

PRO TIP: This article offers advice on how to add a prototype in Figma. However, it is important to note that prototypes should only be used for testing and experimentation purposes. They should not be used as the final product.

Once you’ve selected your artboards, it’s time to start linking them together! To do that, simply click and drag from one artboard to another. You can also click on the “Link” button in the top bar and then click on the two artboards you want to link together.

Now that your artboards are linked together, it’s time to add some interactions! To do that, just click on an element on one of your artboards and then click on the “Interactions” tab in the right sidebar. From there, you can add things like link actions, hover actions, and more.

And that’s it! You’ve now successfully added a prototype in Figma.

Adding a prototype in Figma is a quick and easy process that anyone can do. By following the steps above, you can create a prototype in Figma with ease. So go ahead and give it a try!
