There are a couple different ways that you can add a gradient layer in Photoshop. One way is to use the “Gradient Overlay” layer style.

To do this, first create a new layer and then select the “Gradient Overlay” option from the “Layer Styles” menu. From here, you can choose your desired colors, blending mode, and opacity.

PRO TIP: Adding a gradient layer in Photoshop can be tricky and may result in unwanted effects if not done correctly. Be sure to use a low opacity when adding a gradient layer, and use a light hand when applying it to your image.

Another way to add a gradient layer is by using the “Gradient Map” adjustment layer. To do this, go to the “Adjustments” menu and select “Gradient Map”. Again, you can choose your desired colors and blending mode from here.

Finally, you can also create a gradient layer using the “Gradient Tool”. To do this, select the tool from the toolbar and then click and drag on your image to create the gradient. You can also adjust the colors and blending mode from the options bar.

Adding a gradient layer in Photoshop is a quick and easy way to add some color and interest to your images. Experiment with different colors and blending modes to see what looks best for your particular image.
