Adding a Status Bar in Figma

One of the great things about Figma is that you can add a variety of different types of status bars to your design. This can be really helpful when you want to show the progress of a task or give the user feedback on their actions.

To add a status bar in Figma, first create a frame that will contain the status bar. Then, use the Rectangle tool to draw a rectangle inside the frame. To style the rectangle, go to the Properties panel and select the fill color, stroke color, and stroke thickness that you want.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we recommend that you do not attempt to add a status bar. This could result in unintended changes to your design.

Next, add a text box to the frame and type in the text that you want to display in the status bar. To style the text, go to the Properties panel and select the font family, font size, text color, and alignment that you want.

Finally, to add an icon to the status bar, go to the Assets panel and drag an icon into the frame. You can also use an icon from another file by selecting “Import” from the Assets panel menu.
