Adding an SPF record to HostGator can be done by following these steps:

Log in to your HostGator account. Click on the Domains & Subdomains tab.

Select the domain you want to add an SPF record for. Under DNS Records, click Add Record. Enter the following information into the Add Record form: Type: TXT.

Host: v=spf1 a mx ip4:173.194.

236.4 ~all.

Replace 173.236.

4 with the IP address of your HostGator server. Click Add Record.

Your SPF record should now be added to your HostGator account. You can verify this by looking for the TXT record in your DNS logs.

PRO TIP: If you are adding an SPF record to HostGator, be aware that you may experience issues with your email deliverability. This is because HostGator does not currently support SPF records.
