Adding a DNS TXT record for domain verification on Shopify is a simple process that can be completed in just a few minutes. First, you will need to login to your Shopify account and go to the “Domains” section. Next, click on the domain that you would like to verify and select the “DNS” tab.

On the DNS tab, you will see a list of the existing DNS records for your domain. To add a new TXT record, click on the “Add Record” button and select “TXT” from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: Adding a DNS TXT record for domain verification on Shopify can be tricky. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully and double check your work before you save any changes.

In the “Name” field, you will need to enter the name of the TXT record. For domain verification, this will typically be something like “_domainkey” or “txt”.

In the “Value” field, you will need to enter the value provided by Shopify. This value will be specific to your account and domain.

Once you have entered all of the required information, click on the “Save Record” button to save your changes. Your new TXT record will now be live and Shopify will be able to verify your domain.
