How do I add Google fonts to Figma?

Last updated on April 3, 2023 @ 8:41 am

Adding Google fonts to Figma is a simple process. First, open the Google Fonts website.

Once you have the website open, you’ll need to select the fonts you’d like to use. You can choose to download the fonts directly to your computer.

From there, install the font on your computer and this will be automatically added to your Figma project.

PRO TIP: Adding Google fonts to Figma is a simple process, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First, make sure that the font you want to use is available for web use. Many Google fonts are available for download, but some are only available for use on specific websites. Second, keep in mind that not all browsers support all Google fonts. So, if you use a font that is not widely supported, it may not display properly for some users.

Once you have the font installed, this will now be automatically available in your Figma application. To check the installed font, simply go to the Design tab, and under the Text section, click on the font style drop-down box.

From the list of font style options that will appear, locate the font in the drop-down menu.

You should now be able to use the Google font you downloaded in your Figma projects.
