How do I add https to DigitalOcean?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 1:52 pm

Adding HTTPS to DigitalOcean is easy. To begin, login to your account and click on the Security tab. From here, you can click on the Add Certificate button and select the certificate you would like to use.

Once you have selected the certificate, you will need to provide the certificate’s authority (CA) and the certificate’s subject. To find the CA, you can visit the Certificate Authorities page on the Mozilla website, or you can use the command line tool certutil to find the CA for a specific certificate.

PRO TIP: Adding https to your DigitalOcean account can be done by following these steps:

1. Log into your DigitalOcean account.
2. Click on the “Security” tab.
3. Click on the “Add HTTPS Certificate” button.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Please note that you will need to have a domain name registered in order to add https to your account.

Once you have found the CA and the certificate subject, you will need to copy and paste the information into the DigitalOcean security form. Once you have completed these steps, you will need to click on the Save button to save the changes to your security configuration.

Finally, you will need to restart the DigitalOcean server to apply the new security configuration.
