If you’re new to Photoshop, the first thing you’ll want to do is change your workspace so that it’s tailored to your needs. To do this, go to Window > Workspace > New Workspace.

PRO TIP: Please note that changing your workspace in Photoshop can be a complex process, and it is important to follow the instructions carefully. In particular, please be aware that changing your workspace may affect the way your images are displayed, and may also change the way Photoshop tools and panels work. If you are unsure about how to change your workspace, please seek professional help.

This will open up a dialogue box where you can give your workspace a name and select which panels you want to include. Once you’ve done this, click Save and your workspace will be created!

If you’re an experienced Photoshop user, chances are you’ve already customized your workspace to suit your workflow. But if you want to make changes to an existing workspace, or create a new one from scratch, it’s easy to do. Simply go to Window > Workspace > Manage Workspaces, and this will open up a dialogue box where you can rename, delete, or duplicate workspaces as well as import or export them.
