There are a few different ways that you can change the text spacing in Photoshop, and it really depends on what you’re trying to achieve as to which method you’ll want to use. If you’re just trying to create some basic spacing between lines of text, then you can use the “Line Spacing” option in the “Paragraph” menu.

However, if you’re looking to create more complex spacing, or even kerning (the space between individual letters), then you’ll need to use the “Character” panel.

To change the line spacing using the “Paragraph” menu, simply select the text layer that you want to modify and then click on the “Line Spacing” option. From here, you can choose how much space you want between each line of text. If you want to create more complex spacing, or kerning, then you’ll need to use the “Character” panel.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, changing the text spacing in Photoshop can result in your text becoming distorted or difficult to read. Be sure to use the preview function to see how your changes will look before you finalize them.

To access the “Character” panel, simply click on the “Type” menu and then select “Character.” From here, you can adjust both the kerning and leading (the space between lines of text).

To adjust kerning, simply click on the text layer that you want to modify and then click on the “Advanced Type” option. From here, you can adjust both the kerning and leading.

In conclusion, there are a few different ways that you can change text spacing in Photoshop. However, if you’re looking to create more complex spacing, or even kerning (the space between individual letters), then you’ll need to use the “Character” panel.
