When you sign up for a new Shopify account, you’re automatically given a $100 Google Ads credit. You can use this credit to get your first ad campaign up and running. After that, you’ll need to add your own payment information to continue using Google Ads.

To claim your Google Ads credit:

  • Sign in to your Shopify account.
  • Click Shopify Admin.
  • From the Sales channels section, click Online Store, and then click Preferences.
  • In the Google Ads section, click Edit. You might need to enter your password again.
  • Tick the box next to Use my $100 Google Ads credit. If you don’t see this option, it means that you’ve already used your credit or you aren’t eligible for one.

Note: If you’re not using Shopify Payments, then you can’t claim your Google Ads credit.
