How do I create a droplet in DigitalOcean?

Creating a droplet in DigitalOcean is simple and straightforward. To create a droplet, simply click on the “Create Droplet” button and provide the following information:

Name (required)

IP Address (required)

Domain (optional)

Region (optional)

Droplet Size (GB)

Storage (GB)

Keyboard Layout (optional)

droplet type (standard, micro, or mini)

To create a Droplet with a static IP Address, enter the IP address of your computer in the “IP Address” field. If you do not want to use a static IP Address, you can click on the “Create a Dynamic IP” link and enter the IP address of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that creating a droplet in DigitalOcean requires some basic knowledge of Linux. If you are not familiar with Linux, we recommend that you create a support ticket so that one of our team members can assist you.

To create a Droplet with a public IP Address, enter the IP address of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to.

To create a Droplet with a private IP Address, enter the IP address of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to, and provide the private key of a user that you trust.

To create a Droplet with a custom Domain, enter the domain name of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to.

To create a Droplet with a custom Region, enter the region name of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to.

To create a Droplet with a custom Keyboard Layout, enter the keyboard layout of a DigitalOcean droplet that you have access to.

Once you have provided the required information, click on the “Create Droplet” button to create your droplet. You will then be prompted to enter the login information for the user that you specified when creating the droplet.

Once you have logged in, you will be able to access your droplet’s web interface.
