How Do I Create Text Components in Figma?

Last updated on November 27, 2022 @ 6:32 pm

In Figma, you can create text components that can be used across your design. This is useful if you want to maintain a consistent style throughout your design or if you need to change the text in multiple places.

To create a text component:

    1. Select the text layer that you want to turn into a component.
    2. Click the Make Component button in the right sidebar.
    3. Give your component a name and click OK.

Your text component will now be available in the Components panel for use in other frames.

To style text in HTML using < p >,< b > and < u > tags:

This is a paragraph of text.
