How Do I Customize My Order in WooCommerce?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:40 pm

When it comes to customizing orders in WooCommerce, there are a few different ways to go about it. You can either use the built-in order management system, or you can install a plugin to help you out.

If you want to use the built-in system, then you’ll need to go to the ‘Orders’ page in your WordPress admin dashboard. From there, you can select the order that you want to customize and then click on the ‘Edit’ button.

Once you’re on the edit screen, you’ll be able to change any of the details of the order, including the customer’s information, the shipping address, and the items that were ordered. If you need to add or remove items from the order, then you can do so by clicking on the ‘Add Item’ or ‘Remove Item’ buttons.

Once you’re happy with the changes that you’ve made, simply click on the ‘Update’ button and your changes will be saved.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when customizing your order in WooCommerce, you may end up with an order that is not what you wanted. Be sure to double-check your order before finalizing it to avoid any surprises.

If you don’t want to use the built-in system, then there are a few plugins that can help you out. One of our favourites is ‘WooCommerce Custom Order Fields’.

This plugin lets you add custom fields to your orders, which is perfect for if you need to collect additional information from your customers. It also includes a drag-and-drop interface, making it easy to rearrange your fields as needed.

Another great option is ‘WooCommerce Order Form’. This plugin lets you create custom order forms for your customers to fill out. You can choose which fields are required and which ones are optional, and you can even add file upload fields if necessary.

Once your form is created, simply add it to any page on your site and start collecting orders!

So those are a few different ways that you can customize orders in WooCommerce. Whether you use the built-in system or a plugin, it’s easy to get started and make changes as needed.
