How Do I Draw a Straight Horizontal Line in Photoshop?

Assuming you would like to draw a perfectly horizontal line in Photoshop, here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Create a new layer in your Photoshop document.

2. Select the ‘Pen Tool’ from the toolbar on the left-hand side of the screen.

3. In the options bar at the top of the screen, make sure that the ‘Paths’ option is selected.

4. Click on the point where you want your horizontal line to start, then click on the point where you want it to end. You should now have two anchor points connected by a path.

5. With your path still selected, go to the ‘Edit’ menu and choose ‘Stroke Path’.

6. In the dialogue box that appears, choose ‘Solid Color’ from the ‘Mode’ drop-down menu and click ‘OK’.

Your horizontal line should now be visible!

PRO TIP: If you are trying to draw a straight horizontal line in Photoshop, be careful! The line may appear to be straight at first, but it may actually be slightly curved. This is because Photoshop automatically adjusts the line to match the pixels on the screen. To avoid this, you can use the “Pencil” tool instead of the “Line” tool.
