How Do I Export Images and PDFs From Sketch or Figma in My Short Course?

Designing a website or app is only half the battle. Once you’re happy with your designs, you need to be able to share them with your team, clients, or other stakeholders.

That’s where exporting comes in.

Exporting allows you to share your designs in a variety of formats, so that they can be viewed on different devices or printed out. You can export images and PDFs from Sketch and Figma, and in this short course, we’ll show you how.

To export an image from Sketch, go to File > Export. You’ll see a number of options for exporting your design.

Choose the format you want to export your design as, and then click Export.

To export a PDF from Sketch, go to File > Export. Choose PDF from the list of options, and then click Export. You can also choose to export only selected artboards by clicking the Only Selected Artboards button.

To export an image from Figma, go to File > Export.

To export a PDF from Figma, go to File > Print. You’ll see a number of options for printing your design. Choose the format you want to print your design as, and then click Print. You can also choose to print only selected artboards by clicking the Only Selected Artboards button.
