How Do I Feather Edges in Photoshop?

Last updated on January 25, 2023 @ 5:22 pm

There are a few ways to feather edges in Photoshop, but one of the most common and effective ways is to use the layer mask tool. With the layer mask tool, you can paint on the layer mask with a black or white brush to reveal or hide parts of the layer.

When you use a black brush, it will hide the area that you paint over, and when you use a white brush, it will reveal the area that you paint over. If you want to feather the edges of a layer, you would use a black brush on the layer mask and gradually paint around the edges of the layer to fade it out. You can also use the eraser tool to erase parts of the layer mask, which will also feather the edges of the layer.

There are many different ways to style text in HTML, but one of the most common ways is to use <p>, <b> and <u> tags. The <p> tag is used for paragraphs, the <b> tag is used for bold text, and the <u> tag is used for underlined text. You can also use CSS to style text, but using HTML tags is usually much easier.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that feathering edges in Photoshop can result in a loss of image quality. Be sure to save a backup copy of your image before proceeding.
