How Do I Find a Template in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:10 pm

There are a few different ways that you can find templates in Figma. You can either use the search bar, browse through the template library, or find a specific template through a Google search.

If you use the search bar:
1. Type in what kind of template you’re looking for into the search bar. For example, if you’re looking for a website wireframe template, you would type “website wireframe template” into the search bar. 2.

A list of templates will populate. If you see the one you want, great! If not, you can try refining your search terms and searching again. 3. Once you’ve found the perfect template, click on it and it will open in a new tab.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you may end up with a template that is not compatible with Figma. Make sure to check the requirements before downloading any templates.

If you browse through the template library:
1. Click on “Templates” in the left sidebar. This will bring up a library of all of the different types of templates that are available.

3. Browse through the different categories until you find the one that best suits your needs. 4.

If you find a specific template through a Google search:
1. Go to Google and type in what kind of template you’re looking for, plus the word “Figma.” For example, if you’re looking for a website wireframe template, you would type “website wireframe template Figma” into Google.

A list of results will populate. Scroll through until you find a template that looks like it would work for what you need. Once you’ve found the perfect template, click on it and it will open in a new tab
