If you’re working on a web project in Figma, you may have noticed that the default text styling is a little..basic. In this article, we’ll show you how to change the text color, size, and font in Figma, as well as how to style text using HTML tags.

The first thing you’ll need to do is select the text element you want to style. Once you’ve done that, head over to the “Text” tab in the right sidebar and you’ll see all of the available options for styling your text.

To change the color of your text, simply click on the color swatch next to the “Color” option and choose the color you want from the color picker. You can also enter a hex code or RGB value if you want to be more specific about your color choice.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you could end up with a lot of wasted space in your design. Be sure to check the dimensions of your artboard and make sure that everything is sized correctly before beginning your layout.

If you want to change the font of your text, click on the “Family” dropdown and select the font you want from the list. Figma currently has a limited selection of fonts, but more are being added all the time.

To change the size of your text, use the “Size” slider or enter a specific value in the “Size” field. You can also use the “Line Height” slider to adjust the spacing between lines of text.

Finally, if you want to style your text using HTML tags, simply select the “Use < tags >” option and enter your HTML code in the field below. Figma will automatically apply your styles when you hit enter or click away from the field.

That’s it! With these simple steps, you can easily change the appearance of your text in Figma. Experiment with different combinations of colors, fonts, and sizes to find what works best for your project.
