How do I know my Azure subscription type?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 12:27 pm

Azure subscriptions come in two types: Standard and Premium.

Standard subscriptions offer a fixed allotment of monthly usage, while Premium subscriptions offer more flexible options such as increased storage space and bandwidth.

PRO TIP: You should be aware that there are two types of Azure subscription – Pay-As-You-Go and Enterprise Agreement. If you are not sure which type of subscription you have, please contact your Azure administrator.

To determine your subscription type, open the Azure portal, select your subscription, and look for the billing information in the sidebar.

If you don’t see the billing information, your subscription is likely in trial mode. To continue using it, you’ll need to purchase a subscription.

In the trial mode, you can continue using the service for 30 days after the trial ends. After that, the service will expire and you’ll no longer be able to use it. If you don’t see the billing information, your subscription is likely in trial mode.
