Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 8:04 am

The Joomla control panel can be opened by clicking on the “Joomla” logo in the top-right corner of the website, and then clicking on “Control Panel”. The control panel will open in a new tab, and you can then click on “Appearance”, “Extensions”, “Joomla!”, and “Site Manager” to access different sections of the control panel. The “Site Manager” section contains the “Site Settings” and “Site Management” tabs, which you can use to manage your website’s settings and features, respectively. The “Site Settings” tab contains the “Site Title”, “Site Description”, “Site Language”, “Site Category”, “Site URL”, “Site Name”, “Site Administrator”, “Site Password”, “Site IP Address”, “Site Time Zone”, and “Site Contact Information” fields, while the “Site Management” tab contains the “Site Administrator Login” field and the “Update Site” button.

PRO TIP: If you are not a Joomla administrator, you should not attempt to open the Joomla control panel. Only administrators have access to this area of the website. If you try to access the control panel, you will be redirected to an error page.

You can also use the “Joomla!” toolbar in the control panel to manage your website’s settings and features. The “Joomla!” toolbar contains the “Site Manager” button, which you can use to open the “Site Manager” tab in the “Site Settings” section of the control panel. The “Site Manager” tab contains the “Site Settings” and “Site Management” tabs, which you can use to manage your website’s settings and features, respectively.
