How Do I Organize Icons in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 9:38 pm

If you’re anything like me, your desktop is probably littered with icons. Figma is a great way to organize those icons and keep your desktop looking clean. Here’s how to do it:

1. Create a new frame on your canvas.

2. Give the frame a name (e.g. “Icons”).

3. Select the frame, then go to the “Layers” panel and click the “+” icon.

4. Choose “Image” from the menu that appears.

5. Find the icon you want to add to the frame and select it.

6. The icon will appear in the frame. Repeat steps 3-5 for each icon you want to add.

7. Once you’ve added all the icons you want, select the frame and go to the “Arrange” menu at the top of the screen.

8. Choose “Align Center” from the menu.

9. Your icons will now be centered in the frame.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when organizing your icons in Figma, you may end up with a messy and unorganized interface. Be sure to take the time to plan out your icon organization before starting to design in Figma.
