How do I point my GoDaddy domain to HostGator?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 7:20 pm

There are a few ways to point your GoDaddy domain to HostGator. The easiest way is to use the HostGator.com domain forwarding feature. You can also use the DNS settings on your GoDaddy account to point your domain to our hosting service.

PRO TIP: If you are pointing your GoDaddy domain to HostGator, please be aware that HostGator nameservers will override any existing DNS records that you have set up with GoDaddy. This means that any email or subdomains that you have set up with GoDaddy will no longer work once the domain has been pointed to HostGator.

You can also use the HostGator.com domain forwarding feature to point your domain to our hosting service.
