How Do I Publish Changes on Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 6:46 am

There are two ways to publish changes on Squarespace:

1. Use the Publish button

The Publish button is located at the top of every page on Squarespace. When you make changes to your site, the Publish button will turn red, indicating that there are unpublished changes. To publish your changes, simply click the Publish button.

PRO TIP: If you are using Squarespace to publish your website, it is important to be aware of how to properly publish changes. Otherwise, you may inadvertently publish an unfinished or incorrect version of your site.

To avoid this, always review your changes carefully before publishing them. If you are unsure about something, it is best to ask someone else to take a look before you hit the publish button. Once changes are published, they may be difficult or impossible to undo.

2. Use the Publishing Panel

The Publishing Panel provides more control over publishing your changes. To access the Publishing Panel, click the Settings icon in the Home Menu and then click Site Settings. Under Website Management, click Publishing.

The Publishing Panel displays all pages and blog posts that have been published, as well as any that have been created but not published. You can choose to publish individual pages or blog posts, or you can publish all unpublished changes at once by clicking the Publish Site button at the top of the panel.

Conclusion: There are two ways to publish changes on Squarespace: by using the Publish button or by using the Publishing Panel. The Publishing Panel provides more control over publishing your changes.
