How Do I Resize a Rectangle in Canva?

There are a few different ways to resize a rectangle in Canva. First, you can select the “Resize” option from the main toolbar.

This will allow you to enter new dimensions for the width and height of the rectangle. You can also use the “Scale” tool to resize the rectangle by dragging one of the corner handles. Finally, you can use the “Crop” tool to crop the rectangle to a specific size.

To resize a rectangle using the “Resize” option:

1. Select the “Resize” option from the main toolbar.

2. Enter new dimensions for the width and height of the rectangle.

3. Click “OK” to apply the changes.

To resize a rectangle using the “Scale” tool:

1. Select the “Scale” tool from the main toolbar. Drag one of the corner handles to resize the rectangle.

To resize a rectangle using the “Crop” tool:

1. Select the “Crop” tool from the main toolbar. Drag one of the corner handles to crop the rectangle to a specific size. Click “OK” to apply the changes

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, you can easily resize a rectangle in Canva and end up with an image that is distorted. Make sure to keep an eye on the aspect ratio of your image as you resize it, and be sure to check the preview after you have made your changes to make sure that the image still looks good.
