How Do I Resize Elements in Canva?

Last updated on September 27, 2022 @ 6:47 pm

Resizing elements in Canva is simple and easy to do. There are a few different ways to resize elements, but the most common way is to use the “Resize” tool.

To use the “Resize” tool, first select the element you want to resize. Then, click on the “Resize” icon in the toolbar at the top of the Canva editor. A new pop-up window will appear with a number of options for resizing your element.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Canva or image editing software, do not attempt to resize elements in Canva. You may accidentally delete or damage important parts of the image.

You can choose to resize by percentage, pixels, or inches. You can also choose to constrain the proportions of your element, or not. If you constrain the proportions, then you can only change one dimension at a time (for example, you can only make your element wider, not taller).

Once you’ve made your selections, just click “OK” and your element will be resized accordingly.

That’s all there is to it! Resizing elements in Canva is quick and easy, and there are a number of different ways to do it. So whether you’re trying to make a small adjustment or completely change the size of an element, Canva has you covered.
