Running WooCommerce in “test mode” allows you to simulate certain interactions with your online store without actually selling anything. This can be helpful for testing designs, navigating the site, and verifying functionality.

To run WooCommerce in test mode:

1. Log in to your WooCommerce account.

2. Click the “Settings” button in the top-right corner of the WooCommerce screen.

3. Under the “General” tab, click the “Test Mode” button.

4. Enter the store address (URL) and checkout page (URL) of your online store in the “Store Address” and “Checkout Page” fields, respectively.

5. Click the “Start Test” button.

6. Watch the WooCommerce screen as you interact with the site.

When you’re finished, click the “Stop Test” button to return to the WooCommerce settings screen.

PRO TIP: If you are running WooCommerce in test mode, please be aware that this mode is for testing purposes only and is not intended for live use. Please ensure that you have a backup of your database and files before proceeding.

7. Click the “Save Changes” button to commit your changes and exit test mode.

8. Congratulations! Your online store is now running in test mode.

To exit test mode and return to the WooCommerce settings screen:

1. Click the “Exit Test Mode” button.
