How do I setup ftp/sftp on Google Cloud?

Setting up FTP or SFTP on Google Cloud can be a little tricky, but with a little guidance it can be a breeze. Here are some tips to get you started:

1. First, you’ll need to create an account on Google Cloud Platform.

If you don’t have one already, you can sign up for a free trial here.

2. Once you have an account, you’ll need to create a project.

For this example, we’ll use the project name “ftp”.

3. Next, you’ll need to create a bucket or container for your files.

For this example, we’ll use the container name “ftp-data.”.

4. Next, you’ll need to create a file path for your files.

In our example, we’ll use the path “/home/USER/.ftp/data/”.

5. Finally, you’ll need to create a bucket or container for your file transfer.

For this example, we’ll use the bucket name “ftp-transfer.

6. Now, you’ll need to create a bucket or container for your transfer files.

For this example, we’ll use the bucket name “ftp-transfer-data.

7. Finally, you’ll need to create a configuration file for your FTP or SFTP server.

For this example, we’ll use the configuration file name “ftp.config.

8. Now, you’ll need to export your FTP or SFTP configuration file to a file.

For this example, we’ll use the file name “ftp.conf.

9. Next, you’ll need to create a file path for your transfer files.ftp-transfer/”.
