How Do I Shrink an Image in Photoshop Without Stretching It?

Have you ever tried to resize an image in Photoshop, only to have it come out looking stretched and distorted? If so, you’re not alone. It’s a common problem that can be easily fixed with a few simple steps.

The first thing you need to do is open the image in Photoshop. Then, go to the “Image” menu and choose “Image Size.”

PRO TIP: When shrinking an image in Photoshop, be careful not to stretch the image. This can cause the image to become distorted.

A dialog box will appear. In the dialog box, make sure the “Constrain Proportions” option is checked. This will prevent the image from being distorted when you resize it.

Next, enter the new width and height you want for the image. If you want to make the image smaller, make sure the width and height values are both less than the current values. If you want to make the image larger, make sure the width and height values are both greater than the current values.
