How do I stitch photos together in Photoshop?

Photoshop is a great program for combining photos together, but it can be a bit of a challenge to stitch them together perfectly. Here are some tips to help you get the job done:

1. Start by importing your photos into Photoshop.

If you’re using a digital photo frame or scanner, make sure to save the photos as JPEGs before importing them into Photoshop. JPEGs are the most common format for photos, and they’ll be saved without any extra compression artifacts.

2. Select all of the photos you want to combine and click the “Select” button (Mac: Command+A).

3. In the “Selections” dialog box, make sure that “All” is selected in the “Type” column and click the “Select All” button (Mac: Command+A+D).

4. In the “Selections” dialog box, click the “Add” button (Mac: Command+J) and select the “Stitch” option.

5. In the “Stitch” dialog box, make sure that the “Vertical” and “Horizontal” checkboxes are both unchecked and click the “Stitch” button (Mac: Command+F).

6. In the “Stitch” dialog box, click the “Progress” button to see the progress of the stitch.

7. Once the stitch is complete, click the “Close” button (Mac: Command+W) to finish editing the photos.

8. To combine the photos into a single document, click the “Combine” button (Mac: Command+K) and select the “Stitch” option.

9. In the “Stitch” dialog box, make sure that the “Vertical” and “Horizontal” checkboxes are both checked and click the “Combine” button (Mac: Command+J).

10. Once the photos have been combined, click the “Close” button (Mac: Command+W) to finish editing the document.

11. To export the combined photos as a single file, click the “Export” button (Mac: File+Export).

12. In the “Export” dialog box, make sure that the “File Format” option is set to “JPG” and click the “Export” button (Mac: File+Export).

13. Once the export is complete, you’ll have a single file that contains the combined photos.

PRO TIP: When stitching photos together in Photoshop, it is important to be careful not to create a visible seam between the images. If the photos are not properly aligned, the seam will be visible and can ruin the effect you are trying to achieve.
