How Do I Temporarily Disable Checkout on Shopify?

There are a few reasons you might want to disable Checkout on your Shopify store. Maybe you’re performing some maintenance and don’t want customers to place orders, or perhaps you’re running a sale and want to control the number of orders coming in. Whatever the reason, disabling Checkout is a straightforward process.

To disable Checkout:

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Payments. Next to Checkout, click Manage.
