How do I transfer a domain to GoDaddy?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 4:17 pm

Transferring a domain to GoDaddy is an easy process. To begin, login to your GoDaddy account and go to the Domains and Websites section. Click on the domain you want to transfer and select the Manage option from the menu bar. You will be prompted to click on the Transfer button.

PRO TIP: If you are considering transferring your domain to GoDaddy, be aware that there have been many reports of customer dissatisfaction with their customer service. In addition, GoDaddy has been known to unexpectedly raise prices on their services.

On the next page, you will be asked to provide some information about the domain, such as the current domain name, the new domain name, the email address for the new domain, and the contact information for the new domain administrator. After you have completed the information fields, click on the Transfer button to begin the process. GoDaddy will verify the domain name and contact the current domain owner to transfer the domain. When the transfer is complete, the new domain will be active and ready to use.
