Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 12:08 pm

There are many ways to add layer styles in Photoshop. One way is to go to the ‘Layer’ menu and select ‘Layer Style’ from the drop-down menu. Another way is to right-click on the layer in the ‘Layers’ panel and select ‘Layer Style’ from the context menu.

Once you have selected ‘Layer Style’, a dialog box will appear with a list of styles to choose from. Select the desired style and click ‘OK’. The layer style will be applied to the selected layer.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, layer styles can be very confusing. We recommend that you consult with a Photoshop expert before attempting to add a layer style.

If you want to apply a layer style to multiple layers, you can hold down the ‘Shift’ key and click on each layer in the ‘Layers’ panel. Then, go to the ‘Layer’ menu and select ‘Merge Layers’.

This will merge all of the selected layers into one layer. Now, you can apply the desired layer style to this merged layer.

There are many different types of layer styles that you can choose from, so experiment and see which ones you like best!
