If you’re working on a web design project in Figma, you may need to add some components. Components are great for reusing design elements throughout your project.

For example, if you have a button that you want to use on multiple pages, you can create it as a component. Then, whenever you need to use that button, you can simply add the component from your library. In this article, we’ll show you how to add components in Figma.

To add a component in Figma, first select the element that you want to turn into a component. Then, click the “Create Component” button in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Alternatively, you can right-click on the element and select “Create Component” from the menu.

PRO TIP: Adding components in Figma can be a bit tricky. Make sure you read the instructions carefully before you start adding components. Also, be aware that adding too many components can make your design look cluttered and difficult to read.

Once you’ve created a component, it will appear in your library. To add it to your design, simply drag and drop it from the library onto your canvas.

You can also right-click on an element and select “Replace with Component” from the menu. This will replace the selected element with an instance of your component.

That’s all there is to adding components in Figma! Components are a great way to reuse design elements and save time in your workflow.
