How do you add transitions in Figma?

The best way to add transitions in Figma is to use the Transition tool. This tool is located in the Behaviors panel and can be accessed by clicking on the Behaviors tab and then selecting the Transition tool.

Once the Transition tool is open, you will need to select the element that you want to use as the transition Target. Next, you will need to select the type of transition that you want to use. There are four types of transitions available in Figma:

Anchor: This transition will attach the Target element to the anchor point that you select.

This transition will attach the Target element to the anchor point that you select. Cross-Fade: This transition will crossfade the two elements together.

PRO TIP: Adding transitions in Figma can be tricky and may not always produce the desired results. It is important to test your transitions before using them in a project.

This transition will crossfade the two elements together. Dissolve: This transition will dissolve the Target element into the background.

This transition will dissolve the Target element into the background. Fly-In: This transition will fly the Target element in from the left or right side.

Once you have selected the type of transition that you want to use, you will need to select the duration of the transition. Finally, you will need to select the context in which the transition should take place.

The context can be either the parent or the child element of the Target element.

Once you have completed all of the necessary settings, you can click on the OK button to apply the transition.
