Figma has an amazing built-in vector drawing tool that allows you to create detailed illustrations, logos, and other graphics. The software also has a powerful animation tool that can be used to create animations that play while you scroll down the page. In this article, we will show you how to animate while scrolling in Figma.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, animating while scrolling can result in some very choppy animations. Make sure to smooth out your keyframes and use a consistent framerate (24 or 30 fps is standard) before attempting to scroll your animation.

To animate while scrolling in Figma, you will need to use the Scrolling Frame tool. This tool can be found in the toolbar on the left side of the Figma interface.

Once you have selected the Scrolling Frame tool, you will need to click and drag on the canvas to create a frame that is the size of your animation. Next, you will need to click on the “Add Layer” button in the toolbar and select “Vector. “

Once you have created your vector layer, you will need to draw your animation. To do this, you will need to select the “Pen” tool from the toolbar and click and drag on the canvas to create your shapes.

Once you have created your shapes, you can use the “Select” tool to move them around or change their size. You can also use the “Fill” and “Stroke” options in the toolbar to change the color of your shapes.

When you are finished creating your animation, you will need to click on the “Play” button in the toolbar. This will cause your animation to play while you scroll down the page.

Figma’s built-in animation tool is a great way to add interest to your website or app. By animating while scrolling, you can add an element of fun and interactivity that will keep your users engaged. So give it a try and see what amazing animations you can create!
