How do you create a custom grid in Illustrator?

If you want to create a custom grid in Illustrator, you first need to create a grid template. To do this, open the Illustrator Grid Options dialog box by clicking on the Illustrator > Grid icon on the toolbar or by pressing Shift+G.

Select the Grid Type option from the menu and select the desired grid type from the list. Then, click on the Create button.

Now, you need to create the custom grid. To do this, first select the objects that you want to use as the grid boundaries.

Then, use the rulers to create the desired grid size. To create a custom grid, you can use the following methods:.

– Draw a line using the Pen tool (P) to create a grid line.
