Texturing in Photoshop is a great way to add more realism to your images. There are a number of different ways to create a textured background, but the most common approach is to use a texture brush. To create a textured background in Photoshop, first create a new document. In the document window, select the Background layer. Then, in the layers palette, click the Add New Layer button and select the Texture brush. In the Options bar, set the brush size to medium and the brush type to Scatter.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Photoshop, please be aware that creating a textured background can be a difficult and time-consuming task. Make sure to read tutorials or watch videos on how to create a textured background before attempting to do so in Photoshop.

Then, start painting the background with the Texture brush. You can use the various options in the Options bar to control the texture of the brush. For example, you can change the brush tip size, the intensity of the brush, and the angle of the brush. You can also use the Background Contents option to control the texture of the background. The Background Contents option allows you to choose a texture from the library or to create your own texture. When you are finished painting the background, you can save the document as a Photoshop file.
