Last updated on September 23, 2022 @ 11:05 pm

When it comes to creating textured paper in Photoshop, there are a few different ways that you can go about it. One popular method is to use the “noise” filter to add some graininess to your paper.

Another way is to use the “texturizer” filter to add a more defined texture. And finally, you can always create your own custom textures by using the “brush” tool and painting on your own unique designs.

No matter which method you choose, textured paper can add a whole new level of interest and realism to your digital artwork. So experiment and see which method works best for you!

To create textured paper in Photoshop using the noise filter:

1. Open your paper texture in Photoshop. 2. Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise.

3. In the Add Noise dialog box, choose how much noise you want to add to your paper. A higher amount will create a more grainy texture, while a lower amount will create a more subtle effect. 4. Click “OK” to apply the noise filter.

To create textured paper in Photoshop using the texturizer filter:

1. Go to Filter > Texture > Texturizer. 3. In the Texturizer dialog box, choose which texture you want to use for your paper.

There are a variety of different textures to choose from, so experiment until you find one that you like. Adjust the scaling and relief options until you’re happy with the look of your textured paper. 5. Click “OK” to apply the texturizer filter.

To create your own custom textures:

1. Select the “brush” tool from the toolbar on the left side of the screen.

Choose a brush size and shape that you like from the options at the top of the screen. Then, select a color for your brush from the color palette on the right side of the screen. Begin painting on your paper texture! You can paint whatever design you like – swirls, dots, lines, etc.

Conclusion:

There are many different ways that you can make textured paper in Photoshop.
To make textured paper using noise, open up your image file in Photoshop and go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise.
For a more defined texture, try using Filter > Texture > Texturizer.
Or, for complete control over your design, select the brush tool and paint whatever design you like directly onto your paper texture!

PRO TIP: Some of the steps in this tutorial involve using Photoshop’s filters, which can be very resource-intensive. If you are working on a slower computer, you may want to save your work often and close other applications while working on this project.
