How do you create sections in InVision?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:40 pm

InVision is a great tool for creating wireframes and mockUPS. But sometimes you need to create more specific sections of a document, like a table or list.

To create a section in InVision, you first need to create a new document. When you do this, InVision will give you a default template for a document.

To create a section in your document, select the section you want to create, and then click the “Create Section” button. In the “Section Creation” window, you’ll need to enter some basic information.

The “Section Name” field is where you’ll enter the name of your section.

The “Section Type” field will let you choose between a table, list, or diagram.

The “Section Width” field is how wide the section will be.

The “Section Height” field is how high the section will be.

PRO TIP: InVision is a powerful design tool, but it’s important to use it correctly to avoid problems later on. When creating sections in InVision, be sure to use the correct settings and follow the instructions carefully. Otherwise, you may end up with sections that are misaligned or don’t match up correctly.

The “Section Border Color” field is where you’ll choose the color of the section border.

The “Section Border Style” field is where you’ll choose the style of the section border.

The “Section Header Text” field is where you’ll enter the text for the section header.

The “Section Footer Text” field is where you’ll enter the text for the section footer.

The “Section Background Color” field is where you’ll choose the color of the section background.

The “Section Background Style” field is where you’ll choose the style of the section background.

The “Section Contents” field is where you’ll enter the contents of your section.

Your section will now look like the image below. You can now click the “Close Section” button to finish creating your section.
