How do you do a scroll overlay in Figma?

In Figma, a scroll overlay is created by adding a new layer to your design and setting the layer’s type to “Scroll.” Once the layer is created, you will need to specify the size and position of the scroll overlay.

The size of the scroll overlay can be specified in pixels or inches, and the position can be specified in pixels or inches from the edge of the design. The scroll overlay can also be positioned relative to the rest of the design by using the “Position” property.

Once the scroll overlay is created, you will need to add content to it. The content can be added by adding a layer, text, or images.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we do not recommend trying to figure out how to do a scroll overlay. This could lead to frustration and wasted time.

The content of the scroll overlay will be positioned relative to the content of the layer that was added to the scroll overlay. To adjust the position of the content, you can use the “Position” and “Align” properties.

Finally, you will need to add a border to the scroll overlay. The border can be added by using the “Border” property.

The border of the scroll overlay can be either a solid color or a gradient.

When you are finished creating the scroll overlay, you can save the design by using the “Save” button on the toolbar.
