Illustrator is a great program for creating graphics for your layouts and designs. But what if you want to duplicate an image or graphic that you’ve already created in Illustrator? There are a few ways to duplicate an image in Illustrator.

You can use the duplicate tool, the pathfinder, or the clone stamp tool.

The duplicate tool is simple to use. Just click on the image you want to duplicate, and then select the duplicate tool from the toolbar.

You can then click and drag the duplicate image onto your original image. The duplicate will be placed on the same layer as your original image.

PRO TIP: If you are trying to duplicate an object in Illustrator, be sure to select the object you want to duplicate first. Then, press Command-D (Mac) or Control-D (Windows) to duplicate the object.

The pathfinder is a more advanced duplicate tool. You can use it to duplicate an image based on a path. To use the pathfinder, first select the image you want to duplicate. Then, select the pathfinder tool from the toolbar.

Select the path you want to use as the basis for the duplicate image. The pathfinder will then create a duplicate image based on the path you selected.

The clone stamp tool is a great way to duplicate an image multiple times. To use the clone stamp tool, first select the image you want to duplicate. Then, click and drag the clone stamp tool onto the image.

The clone stamp tool will then create a duplicate image of the image you selected. You can then drag the duplicate image onto another image to create a copy of the image.
