There are many ways to embed a video in a Figma prototype. The most common method is to use a video hosting service like YouTube or Vimeo.

To embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo, first find the video you want to use on the respective website. Then, click the Share button and copy the link that is provided.

Next, open your Figma prototype and select the frame where you want to embed the video. Then, click on the Embed icon in the toolbar and paste the link into the URL field. Finally, click Ok to embed the video.

If you want more control over how the video appears in your prototype, you can use an HTML5 video element. To do this, first find or create a .mp4 file of the video you want to use. Then, open your Figma prototype and select the frame where you want to embed the video.

Finally, click on the Embed icon in the toolbar and select “HTML5 Video” from the drop-down menu. In the resulting dialog box, click “Choose File” and select your .mp4 file. Once it has been added, you can then adjust various settings like playback speed and looping.

Regardless of which method you use, adding videos to your Figma prototypes can help bring your designs to life and make them more interactive.
