How Do You Get Dark Mode in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 8:31 pm

If you’re a Figma user, you may have noticed that there’s now a dark mode available. Dark mode is a popular feature that allows you to change the color scheme of an app or website to a darker palette. Many people find it easier on the eyes to use dark mode, especially in low-light environments.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that the “How Do You Get Dark Mode in Figma?” article may contain outdated information. Dark Mode may no longer be available in Figma, or the steps to enable it may have changed.

To enable dark mode in Figma, simply click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the screen and select “dark” from the drop-down menu. Once you’ve done that, all of the UI elements in Figma will change to a darker color scheme. If you want to go back to the light mode, simply select “light” from the same menu.

One thing to keep in mind is that not all colors in Figma support dark mode. So, if you’re working with certain colors that don’t look quite right in dark mode, you may want to switch back to light mode. Other than that, though, dark mode is a great way to change up the look of Figma and make it a bit easier on the eyes.
